I drew this after taking an afternoon Anime art class.
My desk is now all set up and I am in the organization process and still hunting down my reading glasses that mysteriously walked away. I scheduled an eye appointment for this week so I’ll be off and running er, drawing, very soon. In the mean time today I am going to plant some zucchini and beets in big planters on our back deck. An artist must eat you know. Sadly the store was all out of sunflower seeds so I bought some poppies to transplant into one of our planters. I’ll post that after I’ve done my planting.
My parents are always giving me odds and ends and kits to see what I’ll come up with. This was made from a beads, wire, paper and an old dollar store frame. As I’m viewing my entries I can see that I have crafted a lot with purple. Needless to say it’s one of my favorite colors. I have spent the last few days cleaning and organizing in preperation for my desk delivery. I feel like a kid on the night before Christmas just knowing that I’ll be able to get my hands dirty with paints again soon. I fall asleep now thinking of all the things I want to create and the old projects that got stored away that want to come to life. See you soon. My desk arrives tomorrow morning.
I used this as a mini calendar header a few years back for a tiny stamped calendar to hang by my desk side. At the end of the year I saved the header and tucked it into a mini journal as a keepsake.
I had a stash of boxes saved to cover and make delicious
this is the one I started with. Flowery purple paper with silver flower studs
and a touch of softness with fluffy yarn. It’s great for extra precious scraps to paper.
I created this layered paper Hoops and Yoyo card for my sweety a few Christmas’s ago. He absolutely loved it and took it to work with him. I’m currently working on his birthday present. But I can’t tell you any more than that till June 4th.
I crafted this paper dolly our of sheer badgirlness for fun and to see what the reaction my boyfriend (now husband) would have it.
We’re in the process of setting up my art studio again after a move and break way to long break from being Artistic. Until I have my studio up and running, I’ll be posting some old favorites here. Stay tuned for more.
