Casual Friday. the jean pocket trim inspired the look of this page. I woke up with a head cold and felt blue, so I went with a casual blue feel for today. I am now off to make me some tea and work on Mother’s Day cards. Happy Friday.
Tons of flowers painted with watercolors in little paper baskets. What a fun May Day Treat. I also stayed up late last night making myself a pretty candle holder for my desk, I still have to embellish the top, but here’s what I have so far.
Tissue paper, cut flowers from patterned paper and good ole Mod Podge. I dabbed glitter paint on the flower centers. I even gave the bottom a finishing touch.
The glow from the candle through the tissue paper gives it a stained glass feel. Very cute. =)
