Turtle Beach

The turtles body was made from a green tag. The legs and head are cut from scraps of when I clean my mini iron after melting and spreading crayons. I had them all laying on my desk and when I looked down, they made me think of a turtle. He’s kinda cute and boxy. The mini iron I use is below.

I bought my mini iron on line at soft expressions. I opted not to buy the wooden holder and the cooling tote that are offered with it and am happy with the little four-leaf-clover holder that came with it. It’s good for quilting, ironing ribbon, beeswax, or melting crayons which is something I have been doing a lot of lately. It has 3 settings and a toggle switch on the cord. If your looking for one, I recommend this one. I’m very happy with mine. To clean it I simply use scrap drawing paper to press off the wax that’s on the bottom and then take a napkin to the rest to remove any wax that’s left. Well, I have a blank page calling my name, followed by some time on the Nordic track so I’ll post my page when it’s done. Have a great Wednesday!
