Sunset Sands

Sunset Sands ATC. This was very fun. I simply dabbled glue onto an ATC sized piece of Bristol Board and sprinkled it with some sand my Mom and Sister brought me from the Oregon coast. After it was dry I started layering watercolor pencil wash over it in varying colors of the sunset. When the background was completed I added a rubberstamped/embossed sanddollar on vellum and included the trimming from it on the top right. to add beach grass I used bristols from my broom and topped it off with miniture seashells. The different elements of this ATC make it intriquing and colorful in a peaceful way. I really like it.
