Working On My Class Projects!

Part of the class assignments for Lesson 1 is to make a healing art journal. It’s basic purpose is to help you overcome your negativity about your art. Here’s what I came up with. This took me less than 15 minutes to make. I am now working on my first “girls” assignment which is face proportions and placement. It’s actually quite a fun lesson. My page is 2/3rds full and I’ll be done with it later this evening. I’ll post what I have when it’s done. I’m enjoying the process and the feedback from the class. Here’s my journal – Whatcha think?

I Took The Suzi Blu Plunge!

I signed up for the Les Petite Dolls workshop with Suzi Blu over the weekend and have been downloading and printing my goodies today. I’m so excited to get started! I bought brand new pencils and a notebook and some dividers to keep my lesson separated. They are very, very bright and colorful – See! ——

I just couldn’t resist them. I am going to have to buy another packet of them this weekend as there aren’t enough of them for all the lessons. I also recieved my shipment of waterbrushes and Glaze pens from Dickblick.com. I can’t wait to scribble away with these new pens. But alas, I must cook dinner and tidy up the house before playtime! The days are never long enough – and the art desk is always a mess no matter how often I tidy. Time to buy some more serious storage. If anyone has any storage suggestions please leave a comment, I’m in dire straits atm.  I will also be going Pro on Flickr very soon as well. I have uploaded 199 photos since I started blogging on Easter of this year. Wow how the time flies. Well, I’m off to start the grill up – Steak! – I’ts what’s for dinner! YUM!
