Here’s my finished sketch for my first Suzi Blu lesson. Next she will be sketched onto birch wood and woodburned. I haven’t woodburned before so it will be something new for me to learn. The gals in class say that shading on the birch plywood is much easier than shading on watercolor paper so that should be a treat to try. Speaking of treats ~~ Halloween is around the corner and I’d love to hear what your plans are for this year. It’s one of my all-time-favorite holidays as there is simply no stress involved. =) I have decorated already so I can enjoy the little whimsical goodies for the entire month. I’ll take a few pictures this coming week to share some of my fall festivities. I’ll also post my prayer journals as I get them completed. =) We spent Saturday doing our weekend errands which usually consist of a trip to Fred Meyers for needed this and that’s and a few groceries. This week we broke from the routine for a much needed style job on my hair. Talk about LAYERS in Mixed Media? My hair is in a mass of layers now too. I’m really liking it so far. One of these day’s I’ll get a photo of myself up on here. =)
