I’ve finished “I Do” which I painted for my niece for Christmas. She’s getting married in Aug of 09. This was FUN to make, it’s doorhanger size. I used ribbons and fun-fibers through eyescrews on the sides for hanging and they give it a soft, feminine look. Very pretty indeed. I hope she likes it. I’m working now on one for her older sister who’s into music. My sister is sending me some sheet music this weekend to collage with so I have that one on hold for a few more days. I am going to do some woodburning today on a piece a bit bigger than the one above. I also have some trivets from the dollar store that I’ll be sanding~gessoing~ and sketching on to paint. They have hangers already so that makes it easy. =) Christmas is closing in faster than I had wanted and I have much!!! to do. Below are two of my evening sketches I finished while waiting for paint to dry on other pieces. They are from my Les Petite sketchbook.
