Here’s a sneak peek at what’s on my plate – AKA: Desk. I’m toying with some fish I painted on that just don’t do it for me. Once I get them refashioned and do a few touch ups here and there I’ll be happy and call her complete. I got four of the five mediums I ordered from Dick Blick yesterday and am really excited about using them in my next painting which is peeking out from underneath yar pirate!
This the first painting I’ve used embossing powder on and I really like how it turned out. Her shirt, belt, and boots are all down with black embossing powder making her look like she’s leathered out! I’ll have her done on Monday. I have a sick hubby this weekend and errands to get done today, so art is on the back burner for now. I’ll be back on Monday! Have a great weekend. =)
