Eve in the garden of Eden. I did a lot of woodburning on Eve and the garden portion of this piece. The hanging vines and leaves are all woodburned and the leaves have texturing paste painted on them topped with several colors of green and twinkling H2Os in Irish Mist. The flowers are stamped, collaged, and painting on. I did the majority of this painting while I was sick and leaning over my desk. At first I didn’t like the painting at all but as I started to feel better and get ideas for it I started to feel the creative process take over and it grew on me. =) I’ve a few little things to touch up before she’s varnished but I couldn’t wait to share!
