Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink was inspired by a journal page I did for a journal swap I’m in. I still have the journal and plan on doing one more spread in it before sending it on. I’ll post what I’ve done before it gets mailed on to the next lucky participant. =) Since the painting was based on an existing work it took very little time to recreate her on wood. This mixed media madness is made up of acrylic paint, watercolor pencil, rubber stamping inks, rubberstamps, Scribbles 3-D fabric paint, paper doily, collage papers, rhinestones, and a metal heart sticker. She’s almost gypsy like with her curls tucked under her matching bandana. She looks like she’s from the summer of love with her arms outstretched to embrace others. Today I’m working on some jewelry and another painting. I have several other paintings to finish up as well and a card of a Hula Dancer to make… that one will be great fun! Happy Saturday ~ I hope your weekend is very relaxing! Keep the Faith! *HUGS*

Tammy she is adorable. Love the mermaid too.
Did I tell you I received your journal??? Love how you put it together with two smaller journals inside. I will do a couple of spreads and send it on to Teri.
Hope the rest of your weekend is lovely,
Mary

Oh Tammy, your pink girl is wonderful. I love all your stuff but since pink is my favorite color I am particularly fond of this one. Is she for sale?
