Hula Honey

Hula Honey is actually the front of a card I did on Bristol Board. It’s done with watercolor pencils, prismacolor pencils, gel pens, pastel chalk pencils,  rubberstamping inks, and collage elements. She will dance her way out of the envelope and into the lap of the gal that’s retiring from my DH’s work this coming Tuesday. We are invited to a celebration dinner at a very nice place on downtown on the waterfront for dinner to send her off to her timeshare in Hawaii! What a way to spend an early retirement. =) Fun in the sun in paradise. She was so much fun to create that of course I will be making a larger version of her on birch wood with more elements. She’s a sweet summer theme! Speaking of summer … today our weather took a turn for the sunny so my plans for homemade clam chowder are literally on the back burner. Looks like I’ll be BBQing something up instead, which is fine with me. It keeps the heat out of the kitchen! On that note … Have a happy Saturday and enjoy the weather.

She’s beautiful! I like her Hawaiian look! Makes me “home”sick doe the winter we spent there!

Fabulous! I love her; she’s so sweet. The flowers are the perfect touch to make her look like she’s in a tropical paradise!

I’m impressed by how nicely she fills out her bikini top!
