Happiness is an open store! And for the owner at the end of a long day…happiness is a closed store, which is what it says on the back side of the open sign. I had the best time making this door hanger and went over the top with detail and embellishments. It’s a fave of the family and will be in Etsy today. I used pink, pink, pink! The background is painted ivory and stamped with pink flowers and green leaves, I used collage papers for her dress and her hat. She has embellished flowers in her hair and a brad flower in her hand with a green rhinestone center. Her face and hair are woodburned onto this wooden door hanger that I bought years and years ago. I’m hoping I’ll be able to find more of them as this was such a treat of a project to make. I decided not to give her pupils to add a little extra interest to her face. Fun, Fun, Fun!
