A Hint of Black Lace…

Here’s something a little different and adventureous from my normal “plank” of wood paintings. I had my dad rip my large piece of birch wood into smaller pieces for me. I thought I’d try painting some mini-paintings to make more affordable art items for holiday purchases. This orgionally was going to be a magnet but as per usual I got carried away and my creative juices took over. I have a stack of Ikea wooden frames I bought about 5 year ago that have been sitting in my closet with nothing in them. This is a 5×7 pink, black, and white explosion of happiness! The head tilt, the black lace, the bright pink daisies make this painting irresistable! Embellishements include a rhinestone flower and some resin hearts in black and white. Whatcha think!? Oh and as always…. Happy TGIF! Come back later this week for even more goodies that have been keeping my fingertips in layers of paint.
