Who wouldn’t love having flowers and vines for hair. You would have the smell of spring and summer with you at all times. This mini painting is done with woodburning the image on and adding collage elements and paint. What a fun wee painting this was. I used my mini flower punch for the pink flowers, and a some purple paint and a rubberstamp for the slightly larger flowers. Some of the leaves are stamped on while others are made from “paper” stickers. Her headband is made from an advertisement envelope the came in the mail … the colors and pattern were just to scrumptious to toss out. Her headband embellishment is a large brad that has been modified and glued on to accent her. I thought this was a fun little mini painting and it appealed to me with the hair being somewhat Marie like while adding a Going’ Green flair.
