More play…
This page of daisies was a doodle session for me a few days ago. I should have taken the picture before I started working on the back side of the paper as the wet medium I used warped the picture. That’s journaling for you though. I used a combination of chalks, pastels, and a bit of white acrylic as a undercoating for the flowers. This is just a simple summer page that was a way to unwind as I put my ankle up on fluffy pillows at days end. Today I wood-burned six mini 4×4″ paintings. I have some paint on four of them at the moment. I like to have more than one painting going on at a time to allow for drying time. It’s incredibly boring to watch paint dry and once can only play so much FreeCell between coats. I’m up to my elbows in paint and I need to hit the kitchen and finish off dinner preparation so I’ll say g’day until tomorrow! Short and sweet today! Enjoy your Hump Day evening.
