More play…
This page of daisies was a doodle session for me a few days ago. I should have taken the picture before I started working on the back side of the paper as the wet medium I used warped the picture. That’s journaling for you though. I used a combination of chalks, pastels, and a bit of white acrylic as a undercoating for the flowers. This is just a simple summer page that was a way to unwind as I put my ankle up on fluffy pillows at days end. Today I wood-burned six mini 4×4″ paintings. I have some paint on four of them at the moment. I like to have more than one painting going on at a time to allow for drying time. It’s incredibly boring to watch paint dry and once can only play so much FreeCell between coats. ☺I’m up to my elbows in paint and I need to hit the kitchen and finish off dinner preparation so I’ll say g’day until tomorrow! Short and sweet today! Enjoy your Hump Day evening.
